I for one (been here for ages my man has been home for 4 years now) will have to say dont go. Why because you give a different point of view...the point of someone who has done the time and who knows what it is like in those places i do think that point of view is important.
Just be gentle when you talk to the lady's on here some are dealing with some pretty full on stuff a long with the prison stuff.

I too say don't leave. You didn't scare me away & I too am very open/honest. I guess you can call me the Inmate Whisperer because it makes my blood boil when others try to throw salt on an already open wound ie. men in prison are this/that/other = they're not worthy to be loved/they're evil because they're behind bars/ they'll probably never change = they're not good enough for us; Not saying you per se.

I don't think any us ladies woke up one morning and said, "Hey I'm going to find a penpal (or however) and write/send pics/hear his voice a few times and BAM fall in love with him!"

People have always told me I'm a strong person having survived all I have, yet I'm feeling the strongest I ever have in being madly in love with my hubz to be and planning our future! I just read an article about a woman who was married for 20+years yet she was still in love with the one that got away. What does this have to do with this discussion you ask? She let him go because he didn't fit the "perfect" man mold. So now they found each other again and are living the dream!

We can't help who we love and the saying "the heart wants what the heart wants" goes deeper within our relationships.

So if you're reading this pull up a chair and stick around for awhile. I really don't bite :P

Thanks I think I'll stick around a little longer to see what happens.....I jus wish I would of fell in love with someone through pen pals.....but unfortunately it didn't happen......I'm still searching for the right woman to come along......I 'thought' I found her.....but that's a different story.....once again thanks for your comments
