So, when last I posted, I was scared and struggling. Well, I'm still scared but at least I've found a job and the baby seems to be healthy.
I spoke with my husband's lawyer a little bit but it seems like everyone is just dragging their feet. It's been 2 months and he hasn't even been sentences yet. The case isn't going to trial, he pled guilty.
Also, I guess they weren't letting him have his meds (he takes an anti-depressant) so he wound up trying to hurt himself. Now he's under a psych hold and can't have visitors or make phone calls (not that I can afford to accept them yet). I mean, what kind of bull is that? How can they withhold that kind of medicine? I told his lawyer about it, and he said that he would see what he could do, but he doesn't seem to care...
But, thoughts and prayers for all of you. I sincerely hope that everyone else had a much better weekend.
Unfortunately the "justice" system takes it's not so sweet time with moving trials and stuff along.

Im sorry to hear about the med problem and how he is on psych hold. i hope you are able to figure out soon how that can be handled and if he can get his meds! I'm sorry you can't visit or talk to him but hopefully all that will be figure out and your guy will be better soon. The system takes forever when it comes to scenting so just try and take it day by day! I'm still waiting too, not knowing sucks but you have to learn to settle in to it for now.
