So my brother has taken all the classes the told him to when he got in there. He has to complete 2 of them, 4 are done. One of the ones he has to complete is his GED and apparently they told him yesterday that now they are going to not be able to test out until around the 1st of the year instead of June. This is part of the things he is supposed to do to be eligible for early release. Can they really take that away from him because they are not bringing someone in to do the testing??? Things were getting ok for him in there, as ok as it can be there and now this. I feel sick, like the day i heard his sentence and the day he sef surrendered. I want off this roller coaster ride! I want to just lay down in my bed and hide from the world until he is released. I am almost 14 weeks into this and i don't know how you ladies make it years dealing with this stuff. I was doing really good becoming ok with the situation and getting hope for an early release.

I know down hear this stuff happens a lot it sucks and makes it hard on everyone! But one day at a time and try and stay bussy it might change again before the start of next year.....i think they do this to keep them on there toes and to see how they responed to it.

But try not to let them get to you or they will keep doing it. Its not right at all!
Try and be postive for your man....yes i know thats hard and you just went it to end (yes i feel that way too) but he needs to know that your being postive even if its something hard to take and deal with.
He will be home one day and they cant stop time (yay!)

Funny if we are questioned by cops or the DA, or judge and we don't tell the whole truth they can get us for obstruction of justice!!! Isn't that what they do every single day?
There is NO justice in the justice system, so why is it called that? To perpetuate their lies.
Getting a public defender here makes you know you are doomed. Especially when you see the public pretender out to eat or drinking with the DA at some restaurant, laughing and having a good time. Then sometimes a year or so later, that public pretender is now working in the DA's office. They work together, not for the people. It is a stepping stone for them up that ladder to their boost in their career.
I would sell my soul to the devil before ever using a public defender again.
They can and will do whatever they want because there is no way to watch over them and make them keep their word. It doesn't matter if it is written down in their sentences, or anything.
I once found a statute that they had went against. Their own damn laws they were breaking. People were getting released because someone found out. By the time I found their error, they had made another statute to cover their butts. Too many lawsuits against the state had resulted in millions having to be paid out to these guys for wrongful imprisonment. The states will do what they have to do to cover their wrong doing, but if we do something wrong, and try to cover it up, we are in big trouble. Do not trust anyone in the government is how I feel. They will screw you over in a heartbeat.
