I feel rotten again. I was beginning to think I had entered into some kind of cruise control as far as moods go, but apparently not. What the hell?!? Is this depression never going to lift?
I'm just sick of it.

I think it's safe to say most everyone here has decent days alternating with some very sad depressing days. You are not alone in your feelings. Who wouldn't feel crappy if someone they truly cared about was in prison. Try to not be too hard on yourself. Maybe a hot bath will wash away your tension tonight so you can sleep. Hugs

Depression comes in waves during times like these. Yours are multiplied by not having your own home, job problems, living with your mom, and money issues. As soon as you get working, which I think is soon, some of that will lessen... I hope.

And when he gets home, life will be easier. Sure mine hasn't been a plethora of happy events, but it's better now. When they get home they have many adjustment issues to deal with. You for sure know mine has had those. Right now it seem very good. Crossing my fingers for both of us.

It's too easy to lose sight of the fact that they are coming home. I wish there was some concrete way of keeping that right out front. We don't have an actual release date since things are still being decided. I think sometimes having a big red circle on the calendar would be helpful.

I know how not having a release date is very frustrating but I keep in mind that each day that passes is one day closer to an appeal/release date. Writing him about missing him helps me a ton. Hang in there.
