I've lost my best friend...

My boyfriend and I have been homeless for over a year now off and on.  We came to his childhood state to see if things would work out better here.  2 days ago he was arrested for a warrant from 2001 that he didn't know he had.  He's 2 1/2 hours north of me now and I have no way to go see him.  I don't know what's going on with him.  I have no way to talk to him.  He has not attempted to call me.  I don't even know where he is being housed and they won't tell me so I can't send him any mail.  I don't know what to do.  I am now a homeless woman on my own trying to maintain two jobs with no support system whatsover and no one to talk to.

Hi, I am very sorry to read your story. Have you tried applying for any benefits? Check craigslist maybe for cheap rooms. As for your boyfriend, does he know your number by heart? You should be able to go to the sheriffs webpage and do an inmate search for his name. It can take a few days to get him in the system. Remember that this is only a temporary situation. Good luck

they will not tell you where he's is as it's a security risk..they also need to approve your phone number so that might be why he hasn't called, but at this point you need to worry about yourself finding a place,getting your life together..

He called me yesterday and being able to hear his voice and find out what's going on with him has helped me immensely. I still miss him tons and feel alone but I don't feel as panicked. I have very few people left in the world. I need the ones I still have to ve a part of my life somehow. Thank you for your support and encouragement. Now it's a waiting game to see exactly what will happen.

Wow, I'm glad you got to talk to him! That has to be scary when you don't even know where he is and there aren't any solid methods for you to be able to use to contact him! Now that you are back in touch, I'm sure you'll be able to figure things out together!

It is somewhat of a comfort. Now it's a wait and see game. I still feel very alone for the most part. I feel that I don't belong anywhere in the world. If something happens to me know one would even notice.

Of course they would! Your boyfriend certainly would, and all the people you're close to would as well. Just because you don't feel like you belong anywhere in this world right now doesn't mean that you won't find the place where you do belong eventually. Just follow your heart and do what makes you happy!
