my abuser was a family member and he got off and then there was this fight at my ma's house and she said no more drinking the boys are tring to quit and a week later he brings a drink in the house again and a fight breaks out betwen his girl and the whole house pretty much the only person not involved was me and my mother and it got to the point where my uncle got a hammer and put in almost in my brothers head until my other brother had to get a meadel bat and smash it up agaist his to stop him and then my uncle called the cops and a rusce so he could go to the city to get some cocan and my youngest brother was arrested and realsed on PR and my uncle is not showing up for the court dates and if he misses so many eventually the charges against him will just be droped but my older brother was already on probation and was a 3 time feloney and just got arrested for it and he will not be relased obviosley but when the charges get droped against him which i pray to god my uncle will drop against him will he get relased despite he was involved with the police on probtion because i was told if u were involved with the police on probtion u can get up to 3yrs in jail and b/c he is a 3 time felony he will be in maxiumn the all time another thing this kid is only 22 and he has been in and out of the hospital with servier pantick attacks to the point were he acctually stoped breathing and passed out right in the ER is there something the jail would be able to do for him while he was in there as well

I don't think that they will give him medication for panic attacks. There is however a ton of information on the Internet that teach you what to do if you are having one. I suspect that he has probably used meth or cocaine. Correct me if I am wrong. When you clean up most suffer panic attacks. There are techniques he can use to help. They do have a medical staff in the inmate facilities that he can request to see. If he stops breathing they will transfer him to a local hospital. You are so young to be going through all that you are. My heart goes out to you. I hope you don't take this wrong, but you need to stop worrying about everyone else until you are emotionally healthy. You have your whole life ahead of you. Please open up to a counselor and change your life! Go see a regular Doctor as well and get a check up. Your depression may be caused by other things like Low vit D, low B-12. Looks like you have been given the chance to work all this out with a counselor. You have to open up to get better! I pray you will find comfort and peace in your life.

How is everything going with your brother and your scoundrel uncle ? (My husband's uncle turned state's evidence on him and got off REALLY light while my hubby got life without parole). I hope your brother gets another chance, but if he has to go to a maximum security place, try not to worry. Sometimes they DO give medicine for panic attacks or you can go to the infirmary when it's happening. I agree that you need to take care of yourself; your brother makes his own choices and you are not responsible. Next time, I hope someone dials 911 the second trouble starts. Assuming they come timely, it could save a lot of problems for those like your brother who are trying to keep straight. My prayers are with you all... Marilou.

my brother is doing ok as of right now he took a deal and is going to be doing 18-30 monthes he is still in intake but we think he might be going to medium or maxium and we have not told out mother yet how much time he is going to be doing b/c she has anxity problems and breathing problems and was just relased from the hospital we are also dealing with one of my brothers x-girlfriends saing she is pregant with his kid which kind of scares me b/c is know she does drugs

Just want to say we care about you. You are dealing with so much going on in your family.
We feel for you. Hope that it all works out.

More than anything TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!
They are all adults....you are too. Love them care about them but remember you can have a happy life yourself. None of any of it is your fault. It just is. Never think that you have anything to do with whether they handle themselves right or not. Violence is no answer. For any of you.

I will be praying your family gets their act together so they don't endanger anyones health or safety or freedom.

I have to agree with Marilou sometimes it is best if police are involved if ones won't act in a safe manner. Hopefully if something happens again that someone considers calling for help. Please be careful. Sounds like some may have a self control issue with their tempers.

Honey, you have had way too much dumped on your plate. How old are you?
And if someone passes out during a panic attack they'll start breathing again, he won't die if a panic attack. If he has any kind of drug history they will likely not give him anti-anxiety meds.

it will be hard for him for a while , but if he needs medical attention he will get it sooner or later. jailis cruel sometimes but no inhumane..and it depends a lot on how he treats the ones responsible for his treatment.pannic attacks are a illness and they want go un treated , but they want just medicate him if he don't severely need it. may god bestow his grace upon him..

iam 20yrs old and i just found out he is getting his GED omg iam so happy unfortanlly he is doing it while in jail but at least he is getting iam the only one out of 3 kids who got my dimploma and didnt drop out of school and i never thought in a million yrs that my brothers would ever go back to finsh
