I miss him so so bad

Hello everyone, my boyfriend and I have been together almost everyday for the past 7 months but known each other for A long time. He's been in and out of jail before I knew him but I didn't think he'd be going back as he has a really good lawyer and one or 2 more court dates, he caught another charge 2 days ago when someone had told police he took a phone at my college and they told me he had a warrant out from Texas from old stuff he did( I live in va & he lives in md )and they charged him with grand larceny and took him to jail right then and there. They didn't give him bail so he has to wait for his preliminary hearing feb 24th and he will have more court dates after that and hold him in there. I have never been more depressed in my life to be honest. I was so attached to him due to the fact we were together 24/7 for months. He was my Bestfriend and made me laugh all the time and made me feel good about myself like no other. I didn't realize you could miss someone this bad and feel your stomach balling up. I've been crying for the past 2 days but he called me about 3 times yesterday morning asking if I was going to be by his side when he gets out. I said yes of course because I love him so much. He hasn't called me since and it's killing me. I know it might be hard for him to call me but waiting for that phone call just makes me feel even worse. Even though it's just been 2 days it feels like it's been weeks. I know others have been through this and I need some comfort and support and assurance that it'll go by fast and hopefully Texas won't come get him because they usually don't. He's a good person whose just made bad decisions. I need help dealing with this because I really don't know how as I've never been in a situation like this and I literally did everything with him and he even came to school with me and waited for me after every class. Sorry for writing so much. Thanks.

It's ok don't worry about writing too much :) The hardest part is the not knowing how much time he'll get, but try not to think about it too much or you'll drive yourself crazy! You'll also drive yourself crazy by stalking the phone, trust me I used to stalk my caller ID lol! While you wait for the case next month see if you can write to him. Even if you can't think of lots to say just reassuring him that you love him and will be there for him goes a very long way! Sending big hugs!

Girl let it out, that is why we are here...it is hard but like other have said write him and reassure him.....try not to go crazy by involving yourself in some meaningful activity. What keeps me halfway sane is planning our lives when he comes out..which means getting my money up! I know how you feel and it is not a good feeling but try to focus on the positive you said something about school...focus on your school work and maybe some charity activities to help people not to make bad decisions...either way keep your head up!

Yes do listen to what the other have said he will call when he gets a chance to. In the mean time start writing him a letter tell him everything it will make your relationship stronger in the long run. Make sure that theres money on the account so he can call you.
Keep coming here we really do get what your going through and most of us have been right where you are now.

Hey, yes everything everyone else has said it all very important. My boyfriend got taken to jail over a month ago and his bail was to high to pay so we are waiting until his preliminary too which is feb 23rd.. so I totally know where you are at right now since I'm going through the court stuff/ not knowing how long he is going to get... which has been hard. But this group is helping me get through it, and we can help each other as we are going through this at the same time. Try your best not to worry about the outcome though, I still do. But I keep praying and hoping for the best. The over thinking will drive you crazy so try and keep busy or write when you feel down(it helps a lot). You said you are in school? I am in college so I'm trying to get really good grades this semester, always good to focus on studying, keeps me busy. The first week was really hard when it came to phone calls. Make sure you have money set up on the account, and next time you do talk try and figure out if there is a good time when he can try to call you. Luckily for us my boyfriend almost always (unless of a lockdown) can use the phone at night. He always waits till he is the last person to use it so we can have more time/ there isn't a bunch of people around. So I always know he will call around 10 pm or later. But we are just lucky that our jail is like that. But I'm sure he wants to talk to you and just can't. I remember we couldn't talk for the first 4 days. Writing him letters is the best way to express feelings though since it can be hard to do over the phone. We are all here for you and you can always come on here and vent or feel free to message me. I totally get where you are coming from. Just remember to breathe and take care of yourself.

Oh i forgot to mention what you are feeling is normal i hate saying that but it is.

One thing I have started doing is volunteering at the Humane Society. I have so much love to give and the animals give it right back to me. It really helps me since I can't see him yet.
