I just wanted to check in and say hi to all my friends. I know I haven't been on much but I do check in once in awhile. I have been dealing with a lot of other personal stuff, those of you who know me probably know what I am talking about. Things have gotten better though.
I.went to visit my husband last week with my sister, it was the first visit we've had in about 5 months, the weather was so bad all winter I just couldn't make the trip. My sister dropped me off at the prison on Sunday and went back to the hotel so we could have a visit to ourselves. Believe it or not it was the 1st time I have been with him alone in about 8 years. It felt a little weird at first but we had a great visit, I cried when I left because it meant so much to have him all to myself, lol! We were able to talk about are plans for when he does come home but I can't tell you those on the computer, haha. He is getting tired though a lot of the guys he has been with have gone home and it just brings him down, I keep telling him are time will come. I try not to think to far ahead though, I try and take it day by day. Our lives have changed so much over the last 10 years, we have lost so many close friends, his sister died last year and then we lost my Mom too, he tries to stay strong though, he really amazes me sometimes. I have to say he is my rock, my life, my love and my best friend. Some days I don't know what I'd do without him.
