I just wanted to say hello and it seems by reading some of the posts that  I have finally  found a support system of non judgemental people who are going through the same thing. I am having a really bad weekend and trying not to let the depression get the better of me. My guy has been doing so well and was recommended for a halfway house by the parole board, he was able to order pizza (his Valentine's present from me) for the super bowl as an incentive and he was so excited about getting his pizza. We talk daily and when we last spoke he said I'll call you tonight and I haven't heard from him since that morning. I'm very worried about him. If everyone could just send some positive vibes and a little prayer our way it would be much appreciated. I'll do the same for all of you!

Hello and welcome! Yes this is a great place, everyone here is so supportive so I'm happy you found this group! I love how you are looking at the positives, that is what I have been doing and what a difference it makes when we set our minds to positive thoughts. Once me and my guy did this so many great opportunities have been open to him! My guy normally calls me every night as well, except last night he didn't call either so I get that feeling. It happens sometimes they are on lockdown or other things happen where they can't use the phone. Don't worry about it he will call you as soon as he is allowed too. I know it's hard, I always freak whenever he miss his normal call time but like I said I'm sure he is fine and all will be well! That's awesome to hear that he will be able to go to a halfway house. I am sending you good vibes; keep your head up and keep doing what your doing since it sounds like you are doing good at staying positive! I will send you prayers and I hope you hear from him soon! You can always feel free to talk to me <3

Hello Scatteredbrain and welcome to the crazy world. It's not as bad really, its hard but like they say anything is possible as long as two people want it. Halfway house should be a lot better for him and you. Just be patient and try not to think negative things, it will be alright.

The phones can go down whenever please try not to stress to much yes i know how hard that is to do but he will call as soon as he can.
Thats great that his been approved for the hafe way house.
