my fiancée. was incarcerated 13 days ago ..I. send a. letter every other day.. He was v in a head in collision killing the man he hit resulting in a m manslaughter 1 charge. .. He was j injred himself critically... Before the wreck we traveled for his job always together after his wreck I never left his side e have been together everyday 24 hr a day fior almost 3yrs. ..I turned him in 12 days ago for a 10 yr sentence.the first phone call didn't go so well ...u cried and cried cause he was mad. I didn't make visitation last week...his daughter was supposed. to go he wouldn't listen I didn't get to tell him anything. going on at home the phones are out in the co jail he in due to a storm do he can't jystb use phone so I never got to b say anything I just sat and cried after I got off I was angry I waited and obsessed over my phone for that... Then I got key first letter he tried sounding positive but beteern the lines he hurting. .I felt so bad for getting angry at him and how none of my letters to him letters.hing positive just how lonely and empty and miserable I was i cent est sleep I can't sleep in our bed his famiky hadn't called to check on me or ask about him and how abandon I felt on and on for 5 letters then I read the letter he wrote he was being so supportive and trying to be upbeat l...but he needs my strength my pisitiveness he can't go tbru emotions in there like I can....my question is. how do i give him strength when I'm hardly function ing as it how do I remain strong when I can't even. breath my heart aches I have never felt such a sense of loss before its numbing .where do I find strength when my bestfriend partner and soul mate gone.....how to i white more positive letters when all I'm feeling is pain....
The best thing you can do is write......his going to be living through you so dont spare him tell him everything the good the bad the ugly. Take his calls even if you fight....calls let them know someone is there. Go and see him the first few visits are or can be pretty hard so take tissues, a change of clothes just in case they dont like what your wareing and know the rules of the place your going to.
and for you come here and talk to us we really do get what your going through and we will cry with you even laugh with you.....yes you will laugh again you may not think so but you will.
