how do I prepare?....

Tomorrow he goes back in. This time there is no bail out... This time he goes in for a sentence of 4 years... he's already done 5 months of that time... he thinks that he will only have to do a percentage of the 4 year sentence. I keep telling him I'll wait for him to come home... I'll be strong and be waiting home for him. He thinks that is too long for me to wait..I say its my choice.. he says he loves me for wanting to wait.. how do I prepare? He doesn't want me sad and crying..especially at court when I have to watch them take him away again.. I promised myself I'd do better this time but i can already feel the self guilt and depression setting in.. I don't know if I can get through this.. I know what is ahead of us and I want to be strong not weak and worrying him.. We have had the worst day together... This is our last day together and we fought and bickered most of it.. I just want to hold him forever and never let go... I know what we have to do.. its not fair how it ended out going...especially since the ex that caused this for him is still contacting him after the judge said there is never to be any contact between them.. he's going to jail and she is still contacting him... my blood is boiling. I want to so badly tell her off but what if I make matters worse... he has two kids with this person... how she can do this and take their father away is beyond me.. i wish that this was just a bad dream... but that would be too easy... thoughts?

Sorry that your last day was like that :( have a chat to your doc and see if they can give you any abit depression stuff to help you. No he won't do the full four years you guys get good time and he should be credit with time done as well.
Get writing pads pens stamps a big box of tissue and if you can take someone to court with you!
I would also talk to the lawyer judge about her contacting him she has breached a court order by doing that......sorry but some ex's are just plain mean.

Thanks such... I don't want mds.. just want to sleep and wake up in 4 y\ears... i'm sick of being strng,, I'm tired and i just want to rest finally.. that won't happen though.. i have no one to go to court with.. i wish I did

Iam sorry that you don't have someone to go with you. The 4 years willgo fast and it wont be the full 4 years.

I am really sorry, and I can relate to the bickering the day before. I think it is somewhat like self protection. It is easier to part being angry sometimes, and I know that from my time with a soldier I was dating. We always argued before he left for a deployment. He said it helped him cope better. I have been reading your posts ever since you came on here, and I wondered what happened with the two of you. Here in California, they are doing 50% of their actual sentence, so find out how much it is in your State. He will get pre-sentence credit, so the the five months he already served, and I am sure there is some good time credit involved, too. My fiance had 4 days, and they accredited him 8 days actual, so double. These are the things I would find out. Never give up hope for early releases due to the overcrowding either. Keep us posted and hang in there. I know the feeling of just wanting to sleep, but there is a lot you can do for him, so stay awake :-)
