He is losing hope. I told him about a mess with his kids; mother for the holidays. She is the reason he is in jail. We still don't know for how long. He has not been sentenced. He has charges on him that he didn't even do. His parents allowed her to spend thanksgiving with them and his kids. I was told it was because one of the kids' threw a fit that their parents weren't there so the mother was called. I don't know if that is true or not... Regardless, I told him about it. I was angry and hurt. His mother met me down the street to give me some of her thanksgiving food as he had written to her and requested. I felt like a huge secret to be hidden away.. The whole reason why they fight all the time is that she didn't want to be part of the holiday's anymore... Now, because he is gone, she want's to be a part of it... with his family... He told me today that he doesn't care whether he gets home or not... He is losing hope. He is sad and angry. How do I help him? I shouldn't hve told him what happened. I know that. I thought that he'd like to know though and I was mad at the time when he called. He called me today and told me that he would try to get in a better mood and call later but when he does this, he falls inside himself. I'm so worried about him... suggestions? what can I do?
