i just recently reconnected with someone from my past who is incarcerated and yes we fell in love all over again since he has been there sometimes it scares me because i've been hurt so much but I've loved this man since we were 13 years old we have always been in the same area we grew up together and i never felt more in love than i have my whole life but it does get hard and I have six more years to go and im willing to wait ever day until he comes home ...my question is what are some things I can do to make this as easy as possible?? I love him so much and we are getting to know each other on a whole different level we never had sex even when we were teenagers he said he couldnt do it cause he knew he'd hurt me i really love him and i want to keep him the only thing is he was talking to someone before i came back and i really want her to go away i dont know he said she doesnt mean as much as i do to him and hasnt lied to me yet . Is it real ??Is it jail talk ?? I dont think it is we opened up about so much and i dont 13 years can just go away

I can only advise you to guard your heart. I'd be concerned about the other woman. However, I do hope that it works out. 6 years is a long time depending on where you are in life. Hang in there.

Yea it scares me he met her while he was there @KitKatD83 I really love him we grew up together a lot of the things he does scares me that’s only because I’ve been hurt so much I really want it to work I took a celibacy vow for him I feel like he could be the one if it works out he doesn’t ask for anything he’s always gentle and open with me and we always been good friends he’s amazing to me. I just hope it isn’t a mistake

I would keep my guard up but honestly this sounds to me all prison talk...sounds to me he's lonely and looking for someone to talk to.I don't know him nor know the history..the problem is if he said he's talking to someone else but she doesn't mean as much as you do to him that would raise red flags....I would suggest you just stay friends and not really get involved with him until he gets out

Watch and observe his actions. Men are different than women in a sense where ...when they really want a woman they'll show it by taking action. He'll do everything and anything to keep you. He'll find any opportunity to talk to you. Loyalty means everything to an inmate so he won't make you jealous by talking to another woman.
Pull back but stay friends until he proves his loyalty.

From my point of view is....it does sound like prison talk....but no one knows him like you do......but think of this you said you jus reconnected with him.....ok you knew him from before but how well do you know him now? If he's telling you about that other woman & she don't mean anything or as much....be careful he may be sincere but do as Ms. 901996C & brandnewangel says wait & watch when he gets out.....

And this scares me, that you would consider a relationship with someone whose actions scare you.
