It will take time to get a date with the judge. There are so many people in there.
If your landlord knows he is in jail, explain to him he will be out soon, and you just need a bit more time to get caught up.
Go to social services and ask for help with the rent, etc. Use your friends and family to help babysit just so you can get away for a couple hours once in awhile. Watch a lot of tv, play with baby, go for walks, deter your thinking from the negative stuff.
Sit and make a plan of things you and him can do when you get out, for fun, and to fix things in your life.
Being that his PO seemed so good about this, I think it's going to be ok. His was never encouraging, she never said she would get him a date as soon as possible. She barely ever went to see him, never answered his calls or notes to her. His is, so that's good.
Be happy.. it could be over soon.
I also think im mad and frustrated that he's in there and i'm all alone doing everything by myself. My landlord doesn't seem to care and hes very rude. I just pray he gets a court date before 6-8 weeks and the judge releases him so he can help me figure this all out before I end up having to evacuate from my apartment.
I see a nurse every 2 weeks and shes willing to give me diapers if she can. My sister also bought me some things to make my son an easter basket. I am fortunate to have these 2 people to help since no one else wants to help me.
It is natural to be negative during times like this. But you are getting a break it sounds like. Just focus on that for now. Sometimes people do get lucky. I know people that did really bad things and they are out now. Didn't spend much time and they have extensive records. I saw one just the other day. I read she is up for 12 years, but there she was, right in front of me.
