I did have a good weekend. Went to see HIM yesterday, he called early this morning to wish me happy birthday. Then went to MN, took my parents to a funeral of a relative. I sat in the car. I cough too much and didn't know the guy.
Then my kids, and a friend and cousin came to my mom and dad's for dinner and cake. My grandkids were there, and they are all so adorable. The littlest one is a daddy's girl, but she shocked him by wanting me to hold her, not him. She is usually stuck to him.
It was nice being around all of them. Ivan called and said he was glad I was having a good day with them. My son offered to fix anything I needed on my car. Ooops, too late, got it fixed a bunch last week.
I thanked my folks for the nice day, apologized to mom for not wanting to take them to that funeral. It was a bit far from their house, and had to be stuck in traffic a lot, which I am not used to, so I had whined about having to do it. But glad I did now.
My dad was so cute, he wanted me to call when I got home so he knew I was safe. He waited to go to sleep til I got home. Best dad ever. End of call he said I love you so much. I said I love you too daddy. Then we hung up and I cried. He is very frail. I don't think he will be at my next birthday. But it was a good one.
And, as far as helping people on here. We all help each other. A group of really good friends that probably will never meet, but depend on each other for support, guidance, understanding and love. We are connected in a way as a different kind of family from all over the US, Australia, and GBR. Right?
Thank You
Happy belated birthday
