Is there any way to GPS track beside ankle monitor? My bf is getting released in feb, and the parole officer came to check the house where he will parole too and said they would need a landline for GPS tracking, I didn't know anything about that is there any other possibility or will he be getting an ankle monitor
The biggest problem was when we told the PO he had an appointment, or his hours changed at his job, or he had to work OT. She wouldn't always call the company that set up the times, so he would be gone, doing what he was supposed to do and the darn thing would go off. Sirens wailing through the house. I would call her, and of course she never answered, usually was after her office hours. I would call the police and they seemed annoyed that I bothered them. One came out here, just pretended to know what he was doing, then said Oh unplug the damn thing, I don't know. It was such a farce. BUT years ago, my son was on one and he had to stay in the house the whole time, no job, no nothing. If he walked outside past the 10 ft from the door allowed, it would go off and the cops came. Once it malfunctioned. They came and claimed he left the house for a whole 5 minutes. I said " Not possible, it didn't go off, and he was here with me, and why the hell would he risk going back to prison for 5 damn minutes. I told them your stupid machine malfunctioned. The cops said oh they never do. Well a few days later, they sheepishly came to change it to a new one. They said they had had many malfunctioning machines. So I wondered how many people got put in jail for their blunder.
