Ok for my the hardest bit was organizing stuff like drivers license, money (he was lucky that i was able to keep his bank account open for him) clothes because he needed new things, sorting out parole appointments...if he had missed one he would of been back in, working out the registry stuff, having parole come to the house.
The job was pretty easy for him to get my dad found it for him and he cleans cars for a dollar.
He hasn't got to many problems in crowds, but he gets a bit of road rage
I was still am his main support his family stopped talking to him about hafe way through.
Most afraid of getting sent back in, still is belive it or not ive still got his $140 set aside just in case and his ex making life hell for us. Yep like Dan the going back is always there.
A few things for people to look out for having been through it! Is that your man might want to do everything at once and yep the first few weeks were pretty full on between parole, Christmas and him wanting to do everything! He did want to get me everything that i hadn't been able to get when he was in....be careful coz this can result in fights! It didn't for us coz as i normally bang on about i had the budget and it was written up and on the fridge!
Parole and community service (wich is what he had to do if he didn't get a job) was a big headache and hard work parole (TxDan your welcome to disagree! ) is god they set the rules when they make a appointment keep it they do not work around you ever. Make sure your partner, or whoever it is they have all the t crossed and there going by paroles rules and if they are so make sure they and you know both sets of rules!
Be careful sometimes the guys can see us as there new co's so be warned about that. Me and D have a honest relationship so we didn't really come up against this but i have heard of this happening and distory relationships.
It can take a bit of time for them to adjust to the real world...this can depend on how long they did in my D words he wasn't really there lol i also keep him in the loop as far as stuff coming out, how much things are, what shops have opened and wich ones have closed, what his bank account is doing so he could work what he wanted to do with it!
As far as sex go (yes iam going to go there lol) it did take a little time to get back into our way of doing things but its different for everyone you do have to remember we have to get used to them being home too...we have had to keep things going whilst there away and yes it is a bit of a adjustment to budgets, to meal planning, the house work, and who does what around the place. Even (this happen to me) down to how the place is set up!
I hope this has given people a bit of insight sorry if i high jacked this post.
