Finally... I met his parents.. and....

I get a call from my man in jail. His voice is the best thing I've heard in two weeks. I just cry at the sound of it. I am at a loss of what to say. He knows I'm struggling with this. He tries to cheer me up. Ha Ha.. Giving me things to do, among them, to contact his father. OMG!! I have never met his father. We have been together for the past three years and he kept me hidden from his parents and family. He felt it wasn't right to introduce me as the new girl when his kids' mother was still around. She was not with him but she would still show up for family functions. Anyway, I got to speak with his Dad and apparently he knew all about me. I know quite a bit about him as well. Its just so sad that I had to meet him on these kind of grounds. I am so happy that they sent him some money to help with things he will need while he is there. Ok, now back to my tears. So sensitive lately. I am not usually this emotional...

I am glad that you now have someone else to help you take care of him and maybe it will help to have someone who will talk to you about all of this and come up with a game plan to get him out! Yay!

I don't think they;ll help me to get him out. But I'm going to see if my man can ask them to help with at least a cosign from his parents on the $5000 he's going to need... its a start

It must be a relief to finally meet him, and at least know that someone else will support him in some ways, that you aren't alone in this. Sure, maybe they won't pay for a lawyer, but maybe they would help if he just asks. He is his son. Now its time to take a deep breath and relax, you aren't alone in this.

I'm trying to relax but the tears are just so close to the surface I can't stop them... I'm happy and then I'm sad.. I'm fearful... all those emotions come with tears... My face hurts from the red streaks! It is a relief and I'm going to ask him to ask his father to help. I can't ask. I just met the man via text...

Hopefully they will help you out in some ways, even if its not alot of money maybe some and to be a cosigner for you!!!

They may feel it IS their responsibility as well as yours. He is their son. Calm down, things may just start getting better, now that you know you are not in this alone.
