I would love to go home today and see his car in the driveway. I had my stepdaughter this past weekend. If there was a knock at the door, she would say maybe daddy's home early. What if daddy could come home early. It kills me. She's afraid she's going to forget what he looks like. As much as I want him back home it does make me a little uneasy, scared. He has his old job waiting on him- thank god. I know he's sober now, but before we were both big drinkers. That's one thing I have to get under control, for the both of us. I find myself depressed and self medicating. Drinking is his bad habit. I hope he can keep it under control. I also worry about him being angry that he went to prison in the first place. He and myself have a good support system here at home, I'm thankful for that.

I used to think about the idea of Michael walking through the door a lot, when I spent time in his mother's house...where Michael and I spent a lot of time. Once she moved though, those random thoughts subsided.
Michael was found guilty of something he didn't do- He's never had a problem with the law before...so I'm 100% confident that when he does come home, we won't have any problems again. He can't wait to come home and find a job...and help support me, the way I've supported him over the past 8.5 years, and will continue to do so for the next 7.5. No, it won't be easy when he comes home, but we'll work through it

Definitely Riverstar you've gotten this far you can get through anything together. You'll face the storms together. If we can get through this, we can get through anything.

I can't wait for the day that my husband is home again! He had never been in trouble before his instance in January 2012. I know for a fact, 110%, that I have nothing to worry about when it comes to him walking a straight and narrow line when he gets out. We have all used bad judgment before in some way. He has learned his lesson, and I know he will spend the rest of his life making up for lost time and for putting me through all that has gone on.

As fair as fantasies of him coming home...I will only believe that one when his in my car and we are heading home.
The only problem we might face is him gettin work but hey we can worry about that once his home I know that he will walk the start an narrow line he just wants to make up for (at the moment )4 years of lost time.
