So last night I overheard my mother kind of bad mouthing my relationship to my grandmother. I had told her I probably wasn't going to see my fiancé this weekend because he told me not to come. Well she's tell my grandma that 'heck he'd only have to tell me that once' and just talking slick. She really getting on my nerves. When I went a few weeks ago he called and asked if she was coming. She told him she wasn't riding in no car for 3 hours to come to no prison. She also said it's not like he going anywhere (luckily he didn't hear that part). But what he did hear hurt his feelings. Then it pissed him off because she's just holding a spot on his list but won't visit. Now when he was in jail she'd come with me to visit him. Acting all like she cared. But would say all this slick crap later on. If I wouldn't bring her he'd always wonder why she didn't come. His mother is dead so I think he wants that motherly connection. Honestly most of our disagreements are because of something she has said. He used to think she was going to convince me to leave him. It just bothers me that my mother has so much negative things to say. Like when he was in jail she'd say things like oh our won't even know who he is. But she'll go visit him or talk to him on the phone acting all loving and as if she cares. It really irks my nerves. And I know she doesn't have to agree with my relationship, I don't expect her to. But she can respect it enough to keep her remarks to herself.
