2 months down. 8 More To go! Question for the people that have been going through this for a lot longer then me. Do you count down the days, weeks, months? Dose it help or make it worse? I feel like the time is going by fast but at the same time, he's been gone 2 months & it feels like a lot longer! Another question. Dose anyone have special plans for that day you pick up your love? I look forward to that day so much! I want it to be so special.

The sentence is so long I can’t count down right now, but I would if I was in your position! Why not?

I only counted visit. Counting down makes the time go longer and makes it harder.

My husband has been since the end of October 2016, so we have our first year down. I felt the time has gone rather quick, but we still have another 5 years to go (2023 cannot come soon enough!).

My girls and I take it day by day and I try to stay busy, which makes the days go by faster.

I really like the Custom Jars, use candy, marbles, rocks, etc. one. I may do something like that when it gets closer to my husband coming home.

8 months will fly by and he will be home before you know it!! <3

Hi! I use to count. Even before he was actually sentence. I stopped now because counting the time makes it feel like it drags on for me. It's been 1 year and almost 4 months. Since my husband's been in. About 3 years to go.

I use a countdown on the internet. When I write him, I tell him the time as it encourages him. But he's 3 months into a 12 month sentence, so it's different than someone with a longer sentence. And I'm afraid to plan anything for the day he gets out as I don't want something to happen and he not get out on time. I'll plan it the day after lol
