Can't Sleep...

The past few days have been very hard for me. I hold it together 99% of the time but damn it! I'm so frustrated. Sexually, mentally, physically frustrated. Yesterday we had a 30min video visit and the kids were driving me crazy. Hubby made a comment that 'it's in the past and I just lost it and ended our visit 15mins in. It's not in the past to me. It's very present and I live it everyday. It's not in the past for me or our son. It's in our future because when you come home our son won't know you. I'm all for putting shit in the past but when you live it everyday, alone. It's very present and hard. I feel like it's gonna keep getting harder with the frustration I feel.

Have you told him that? Maybe try writing to him and put it all in a letter.

Writing it down is very helpful, I have found. Are you journaling? Sometimes I feel like leaving him and sometimes I can't wait to talk to him. It is so up and down and I understand how you feel. I find that just talking to a friend helps. Sending hugs your way

Of course you're going to have visits like the one you've just had. Of course you're frustrated. You have every right to be. It IS very present. The thing is.... you have to move away from that frustration and just accept it as reality.
It makes things so much easier.
I know. It sucks. But somehow, I have a feeling if you accept what IS, you'll be ok.
It is what it is. Meaning...you can't really change the situation...so just accept and move on.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been so frustrated, so angry the last few days. I was having such a tough time getting past it so I called a counselor yesterday. She suggested that I write down my feelings to help me process it better. Well, many hours, 2 separate writing sessions, many pages later I realized underneath all the anger I am very sad, lonely, missing him terribly. My moods have been all over the place. It is hard for both me and my 8 year old daughter. I have an appointment with the same counselor tomorrow. Somehow, I have to try to get balanced again. I have too much to do not to be.

I think weve all been that frustrated. Unfortunately it kinda comes with the territory. I agree with writing things down. And always make sure youre being honest about all of your feelings. I'm sure he didnt mean how you took it when he made that statement. They proccess differently than we do. Something else that helps me is finding a productive way to releave stress.... Gun range (legally), crocheting, drawing, crafting, anything that can take you a way for a lil while. Hugs and positive vibes! You'll get through this.
