my son is wanting a magazine subscription..anyone using any book clubs or magazines that cab be sent to prisons

Where my fiance is incarcerated, the inmates themselves have to order the subscriptions from the inside. All we can send them is money.. Have your son check to see how it's done where he is...his counselor or other inmates should be able to help him know the routine of the place.

My son is in Texas. I order subscriptions through Amazon.

I have ordered my husband subscriptions to ESPN, TIME, and also have sent some books. Where he is incarcerated the inmates are suppose to order the subscriptions themselves, so I order them and place them in his name. Which works fine, he has received all of the issues so far.
@Kflutterby, I noticed that some subscriptions are much cheaper on Amazon as well. But I had problems with shipping them under his name, but billing them under my name. I contacted ESPN, TIME & SI and they gave me the same deal as Amazon.

Check out what is accepted at the facility, a simple phone call will work. I've sent a local newspaper as well as a magazine subscription. I called both to explain where he was and they set it up. I've also ordered books through Amazon, but again, if you have questions, ask as at Amazon, they have to include the receipt, but they know the procedure when they are sending to a facility.
