Better night,but still struggling

Hello everyone, I shared for the first time on yesterday , new to the site. My grandson is charged with two Felonies in the state of Louisiana and could face a harsh sentence. However, I 'm staying prayerful in my faith. But I'm still struggling with the ideal of him going to prison. He is in jail now awaiting his court date. He will turn 21 in jail. He was out on bond on the first charge and recieved another charge which sent him back to jail. The second charge could be dropped or lowered. This was a bogus charge. But the town he lives in is small, if he was in Texas where I live he would'nt got a felony charge for the second bogus charge. So sad. Anyway if there are some prayer warriors out there, please pray for my family. Thanks in advance and God bless.

One thing that may actually help right now is the Covid virus ... If he isn't considered a threat to society this might be in his favour

I will pray for him and for you! It will be okay! I was devastated inside when my brother was sentenced in 2004. He was arrested right after my father died in January but not sentenced until his birthday in the summer. He was sentenced to 20 years but will be released this spring for good behavior. We got through this day by day, and I learned that none of it was as bad as my worst fears, even though at times it has been hard, and lonely and sad. We found a way to cope and make the best out of it. My prayers are that he finds work to do within the prison that will give him a sense of value, and that you can encourage him that there is forgiveness for the mistakes we make. Mistakes are not who we are! They are only the thing we have done wrong. We can overcome the wrong behavior and have a good future!

    Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

    Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.
