I'm wondering if any of y'all know if the lawyer is the only person how can ask for bail to be reduced?? I'm in Texas so not sure if it different everywhere... my bf has a PD and he's been told that the PD won't take the time to petition for lower bail. any info or advice??
I don't know but it seems to me the PD ethically would have to file the petition. This may be a long shot but you could try and contact the Bar in your state to ask them the question. Good luck
