Another Medical Goof!

Seems as if these bozo's of the system can't get any thing straight? Freddy has been getting dizzy spells, he had 2 where he just passed out recently and fell, thank God other prisoners caught him as he was going down. He just called, they took him out yesterday, I hate the thought of him being in shackles and cuffs, they took him on a over a hour ride to "A WRONG HOSPITAL" to top it off, not only the wrong hospital, "THE WRONG DAY"--------IDIOTS!Hope they get it straight soon, his blood presure is always sky high, but they want to do a MRI. If this doesn't get taken care of soon I'll be on the dam phone.

ARRRRGHHHH!!!! How can they be so stupid. But then again I have to remember that these are after all wanna be cops and such.


I sure hope that they get it right in a hurry and find out what is going on with him before it becomes incredibly serious.

Get them Lynn if they dont take care of it fast.

Health care in prison sucks! Where my guy is, they have to put in a request to see the nurse - it could take up to a WEEK for them to get the appointment. They get charged $15 for it too - whether they get the appointment or not. It blew my mind when he told me that! He's been sick for awhile, but he doesn't even bother to put in the request. I do worry about that, cuz if it is something serious (like the staff discussions this week), who will know and who will care? Frustrating!

Kim had a dizzy spell and fell down. He was trasfered to the hospital where they stapled his head back together and then sent to right back to the jail with no pain meds. Just got the bill the other day. $832.00 for a 3 mile ride in an ambulance. Nice, real nice. How do they think he is going to pay for it????

At Lino Lakes prison about 5 years ago, a guy had a seizure on the baseball field. They circled around him and wanted to help. The guards sent the inmates in , sat there just chatting and laughing at the guy in the seizure. They even kicked him. The man DIED! Then they left his body on the field for 2 hours!!! If anyone has someone with health issues in there, you call anyone you can, start threatening the news media, do whatever it takes. Call the commissioner of corrections if you have to. Sometimes caseworkers don't even call you back. Our KSTP news in Mpls did do a segment on prison cruelty by the guards etc. It's a story, they sometimes do get involved and make a difference. The "system" does not want alot of adverse publicity.
