I love my boyfriend with all my heart. That's all I need to get us through the long months we have left. Its possible his time will only need to serve 50% and I'm holding onto that hope. That would mean he'd be out by end of next year. Its because of my love that I don't have any temptations to go out. I stick by him like glue. He's always on my mind. He is my soulmate. I love him more each day. The sacrifices we have both made for the other. Ladies, if you can make it through a prison sentence, then life together on the outside is a piece of cake. I know many of you have been waiting a much longer time than me for your guy. I give you the utmost respect. To be with a man doing time isn't easy. Just wanted to say that. I haven't been on in a while. When I first came on here I was in utter chaos and distress. Now, its been 9 months into his sentence and I'm just holding onto every phone call and every letter... with high hopes he'll be home next year.... love is the answer... it conquers all...

I hope he gets out as soon as possible.
It sounds like you're feeling better- that's good. I've been up & down a lot too. This is a crazy time, but we've got to stay strong. And yes, love is the way.

Ditto girls! It IS hard, very hard. But if you can make it through this, you can make it through anything. Don't anyone tell you otherwise.

its nice to see the support is always here... ups and downs are part of the package... ihate i know you are going through a lot... just keep your head up and hope for the best to come your way... what doesn't kill us will make us stronger... the time away sucks but nothing stops time... been thinking of all of u...

Yes, I have often said that being a "prison wife" is the hardest job in the world! There is no way possible you will make it through without love because with that love comes dedication. I am the same as you, I have not gone out because I choose not to, I am not interested. I am staying focused on my husband, family and work. Those things all keep me busy enough and now being approved to go see him we are throwing visitation into the mix so there is something else to had to the hectic schedule :) Stay strong and hang in there at the end of this you will look back and think of how fast it went by. If your love can survive a prison sentence it can survive anything!

You are right. When you truly love someone you will do whatever it takes. No matter what!! A little piece of us is locked up in there with them. My advice to you though... Is go out an do things for yourself. You don't have to go out. To the bar or anything, but to a movie, out to eat, a nice walk, Etc. You have to continue livin your life while still being there for them. Taking care of yourself is a must. Not saying that you don't, but remember you are not in prison you are free . And I mean this is the nicest way possible!

I think we all take turns going through all the emotions. It's hard to see through the storm that's blowing all around us - the rain, the wind, the noise, the flooding,etc. - and that's why we need each other to hold on to, to hold the other end of the rope when we feel like we're drowning.

Am a guards wife and work in the county family support worker in the county jail.

We both believe that people do bad things, they r not bad people.

My own uncle and my cousin r inmates where we work. To all who need my support am reaching out to u.
