As far as "this is not right, just let him go" I think each of us who's going through as told ourselves this a time or two. For me I was married for 3 1/2 years but I still was in love with my guy and he was with me as well and he'd write at least 4 times a year back then. My husband has passed away and my guy are together again, better than ever! He's in for at least 10 years if not a bit more but I'm not going no where.
It's okay to cry and you're going to do it alot, just try to keep yourself busy. Do you have kid (s) , hobbies, anything to take your mind away from what's going on for awhile.
Try to keep your head up! Think of good times you guys had and think about when he comes how you guys will reshape your lives. The heart wants what the heart wants even if it's not "right." For you it's right and that's all that matters :)
I would call the prison and ask if he has to put you on a call list or not. If not, then call the company that the prison uses. They will help you. They want out money after all.
To those who tell you that you shouldn't love them. NO ONE can tell another person to not love or love someone. That happens only within the person. Only you know why you love him. It doesn 't matter what anyone else thinks. You know him, the man he is to you. The rest doesn't matter.
