I can't be happy. I just feel sad. Christmas is coming in a week and I still can't get into the spirit. I have three kids. They really love christmas time. I can't watch the movies with them. I can't listen to the christmas songs. It all hurts. I don't even want the christmas tree. Their father ended up getting them one so that helped as far as expenses. He even put it up for them. I didn't have it in me to do. That was nice. We usually don't get along... I just feel sad all the time. I am worried about my man in jail. My best friend. My lover. I can't spend christmas without him. Its not christmas without him. I feel like everyday is groundhog day... nothing changes. I try to make do and think everything is ok but its not. I break down every night. I can't breathe and sometimes think that it would be a better option not to feel anymore... I miss him so much. I go to work. I go to school. I take care of my kid's basic needs... but I am never really there with anything. I don't socialize. I don't go out. I barely went christmas shopping. I just can't... its going to be a light christmas for them... not only do we not have the money... I just can't be who I am when my man is home with me... The holidays are hard but just going day by day is stressful.. I will wait because i love him. I will go through whatever I have to until he is home... maybe he's better off without me helping him.. maybe I'm waiting for him to come home but he never will..Just feeling sad and longely today...
My emotions of being, sad, anxious, scared and okay change from hour to hour, and I have just begun the journey with my husband.
Just let yourself feel the emotions you are going thru right now, and try your best to get thru the motions of your day.

Yes it can and is hard but they want to hear about even though most of them say they hate it they still want to hear about our Christmas no matter how bad, good, a bit odd oh and in my case food poisoning just for kicks! They love hearing about that stuff try and inculed them as much as you can!
