As for court dress net and tidy if you guys have tattoos make sure they are covered and be polite even if its ticking you off whats going in there! Take some tissue with you if he goes in its like a big kick in the guts and if you can take someone with you.
I don't know what else I can tell you I hope that he wont go in but its always a good idea to be ready for the worst.
Hugs and hang in there
Prepare yourself. It is always a tense situation. BUT there are times it doesn't turn out as bad as you think. The way to do it is think the worst and it usually proves you wrong. I go into court thinking it's the end of the world, and it doesn't always end up with him walking out and going home, but it isn't usually as bad as we think in our head it is going to be. Been there, done that a bunch of times with fiance and son.
Learn to " accept" that for awhile you will be on your own. Just in case. Accepting is not really totally possible, but I found out the hard way that laying around, crying and missing him don't get us through these times. Staying busy does. And it helps him know you are doing OK and then he don't have to worry about you too
Sometimes it actually makes your relationship stronger. You have time to write each other letters and really say things that we don't when they are home.
They learn to appreciate what they had when home and appreciate us.
Don't let yourself fall apart. I did and it doesn't benefit either of you.
It happened, now you just have to be YOU.. and think that someday he will be home. Maybe soon. Maybe in a bit. But ya gotta keep strong for yourself first, then him.
I let my life fall apart when he went in again. Who was suffering? ME!!! Which was stupid. He can't help me from in there. So I just got strong again, did what I had to do, to survive. Got a job, got more active with my family, and keep busy.
I just took a job I hated, because it was good money. I work 12 hours a day. It is awful. SO now I got a job offer for less money, but doing something I like. I go there tomorrow to find out more. Think I will take it. We gotta find things that fulfill us, and fill up our days while they are gone, along with paying the bills, and having money for calls, visits, and what they need.
