Ugh! I got myself too worked up this afternoon when i arrived home unexpectedly early to find my Prince Charming "sleeping" on the couch.
he would have slept tight through his AA meeting. clearly stoned, he tried to blame his blood sugar, but did not want to check it. i was irritated enough that he knew it. he went to AA in that condition.
after he left i "visited crazy" for a bit. wrote a ranting journal entry, walked the dog, got a headache and now i feel like i could even resort to one of those tranquilizers he has stashed somewhere! alright i am breathing.... i am breathing..... since he is still out i will make a cup of tea and a sandwich- Ha ha i will EAT instead of stress and instead of klonipin. he can fend for his own sorry "low blood sugar" ass when he gets home. thanks for listening.

Hum and sing and putter around when he gets home....it makes them crazy when they are grumpy and we are happy.

i got upset (privately), got a headache, closed my eyes, fell asleep. end of story. if he felt guilty, sad, unsupported, angry or anything else let him deal with it. (isnt he supposed to be learning that at therapy, and/or addiction group meetings and/or AA.?) it is no longer -and never was - my responsibility.
