So last year, as I sat here, typing posts in a sobbing emotional heap, this year I am sitting here posting with good tidings....with hope, with love and amazement at what 365 days can bring.

It seems like a dream now, and the days have gone by so fast.

This morning I woke up to see a new car in the drive. This week my son told me his car needed about 2K worth of work and he was looking at cars. I was on the tail end of my 10 day vacation and at home, he was at work, I looked on line and found the most awesome car that was just posted at a local dealership....I told him about it and he went to see it, fell in love with it and now it sits in the driveway.

Mind you one year ago, this kid was homeless, going couch to couch, I had thrown him out of the house due to his drug issues. He has done time in jail, was just out of his mind. 3 months later I let him back home, figuring ONE more try. And so far, so good, he had no car, got one in August, he had a job in a restaurant, now has a better job making more money than me lol....now from no home, no car, he has two cars in the driveway, a great job, a great gal and smiles and talks and is such a delight to have around. No more of the 'temper tantrums' no more of the stressful conversations, they are real conversations now.

So I wasn't up when he got in last night, so this a.m. he gets up, comes in my room dangling the keys and says 'come on maw, let's go for a test drive'.....I was thrilled for this kid, he let me drive it and it rocks...

I've kept the faith, but I still have my guard up(probably always will), now if I can get him to just streamline his bill paying process, he will be moving forward in fashion.

I couldn't have gotten here if it wasn't for ya'll....know that!

SO for those, sadly, who are new to this board, keep your faith, vent it out, listen to the advice, the stories, pick what is right for you, but ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS keep HOPE.....

I'm just so proud right now of him, I could shout it from the rooftops....
