to all my friends that continue to check on me,,, you guys have no idea,, what this means,, I pretty sure your holding me up,,,,,
All the arrangements have been made,, I have choosen to celebrate her life,, and not mourn her death,,, I could not do the traditional funeral setting,, her daughter needs to remember her as a fun,, loving mom,,,we cry our tears,, we hold our hearts,,oh my body aches,, probably form lack of sleep,,, but each day,, there is beautiful thought,, a passing moment,,, just today,,, Mike (my husband) plays santa every year for kids that come into the restaurant,,,, well he thought he hid the santa clothes,,, well,,, we are sitting on the couch,, and Ava comes dressed in the entire santa outfit,,, omgish,, we looked at each other and busted out laughing,,, speechless,,, if I was in a dark whole,, not seeing the beauty around me,, that moment would of been gone,,,,
May 18,, we are celebrating her life,,, what I ask of each of you,,, is to grab a bottle of bubbles,,, and at approximately 3:00 blow bottles,, we are calling them kisses to Heaven for Katelin,,,
I will always and stand proud with you guys for our addicits to reach the finish line,,,,never give up hope,,,,
I miss my beautiful daughter so much,,, she is not lost any more,,, sometime this week she will return to me,,, and I have a warm, beautiful spot for her,,,,
I will always be here for all of you,,, I stand firm,, Keep boundaries,,, educate yourselves,, and don't be a victim,,, so put your big girl pants on,, some lipstick,,, and stand proud,,, addiction will never win,,, if we our soldiers, fighting against it,,,

My heart breaks for you and then I realize that my reality is one bad moment away from this and then I'm in awe of your strength.

I will be blowing bubbles on May 18th at 3:00 in MN and I am praying for you and my heart has been aching too. I was new to this group and you have reached out to the new people here and helped us so much. I believe that God needed an really good angel.
My mother died at the young age of 53 on May 10th 1990. I turn 53 on May 8th this year. I have been dreading this because I will have lived longer that her and it makes me so sad. I will be blowing bubbles for my Mom on May 10th too if that's ok. It's such a great idea. I will always miss my Mom so very much but I know she is one of the most wonderful angels up there in heaven and I am sure she will be loving and welcoming for your daughter Katelin too. Celebrating the lives of our loved ones and remembering all the special things about them is the best idea. We are forever with you as friends and families of addicts. Hugs and Love always! Cher
Your plans to celebrate Katelin's life is a wonderful idea and it will be an honor to be a part of them. Given the time difference from one part of the country to the other can I assume its 3:00pm EST?
