So, as I said, he is doing well, he goes slower than I would, LOL, but we are all different. He did get a job, but it wasn't anything they said it would be and he wasn't thrilled, so he has another job he is doing p/t, but in the meantime looking at apt's with the g/f, they found one they loved, in their price range, got there and the guy just rented it out to the people that came before them, he was really down about that, but moved on to another.....
He is playing his guitar ALOT and even bought back the electric that I got out of hawk for him last year....LOL....that is a step in the right direction.
He has his permit, passed getting all the questions correct and will take his drivers test this week coming up. With THAT, he does have a job lead that would have him using a work truck and making good money, hopefully that will pan out for him.
He has been staying close to home and at the gf's house. I have spotted him drinking a couple beers, but nothing crazy like he use to. He knows I'm not happy with that, but.....he is not doing anything else as far as I can see.
His personality has changed to the kid we use to know. Everything is kept clean and orderly (which is a HUGE signal).
So day by day....he even told me that once he gets his 'shit together' as he puts it LOL...he is going to propose to his GF. He really loves her and they have a 'grown up' relationship. She really is good for him. So we will see, you know how 20 somethings are LOL....
Me? Well, my p/t work has been asking me to be 'patient' as they had something coming up (full time) and I've been waiting and found out that it appears it may not have gone the way they said and they haven't officially told me yet. I'm VERY pissed about it and feeling a little low. Tired of being the ee that doesn't call in to work sick at ALL, always on time, stays late, comes in when they call to fill in for other managers that call in and makes sure EVERYTHING is in order and yet getting praise but nothing else to go with it. Maybe time for a new direction. Tired of waiting 5 months for nothing. The GM says he will talk to me on such and such a day and when I get in he is LONG gone. So, not for nothing, you don't appreciate me? I know where the door is, not MY loss, it's yours'!
Other than that, it's warming up, the garden looks great, house is in order, the boat will be in the water soon and bring on the warm weather.

As to your son...he does sound good. really good, but I still voice my concerns about even a couple of beers....Nada, nothing to take the edge off is good for him. Too easy to slip down that slope.
BUT, if his head is healthier, perhaps he will come to see that too.
as to your job? when I left my last one - exhausted- they hired two and a half people to take my place. duh....
