where do i start? im lost what can you do with a mom that drinks way too much and wont admitt it??? shes really bad 2nite

shes broke down in the middle of the pub
shes has nagged some1 all night
shes yelled at someone who had a joke (addmitidly not a funny one but still) and at the person who tried to calm things down which in turn turned into another arquement
then its my fault cuz i havnt got a mirical cure to solve her and my dads marrage cuz i dont know what to say to make it all better and that means "im not there for her" does it??
she got in the house stormed upstairs woke my dad up for snorin tried to kick him out the bed (he is pretty bad but has tried numerous things to stop it) and now there in te middle of a huge argument (wich is made worse as she is viollent when shes had too much)

i dont know what to do these events are just one night of many :(

help me please what can i do??

I am so sorry for what you are experiencing. I don't know what the laws are in GBR nor what resources are availale to you. Why don't the police arrest her for publc intoxication? Can you call the police when they are arguing and tell them you are afraid they will get violent with each other and you? I know it is scary but some way somehow, your mom needs to hit bottom. you cannot cause, control or cure her addiction. the only thing you can control is yourself. Is there somewhere you can go and stay? Relatives, or close friends?
Have you attended any Alanon meetings? If you cant get to a live meeting, go to www.stepchat.com They have alanon meetings on line and perhaps you can find someone in your area who has some ideas.

awww sweetie, I grew up with my mom a raging alcoholic, it is so hard! Please know that it is not your fault. When she is drunk and trying to blame you for all sorts of things, remember that her problems are hers alone - you are not forcing her to drink!

Of course you cant handle it all! None of us adults can fully cope with our loved ones addictions - it is extremely tough. You are young and are having all this crap thrown on you, and it is confusing

MGS gives good advice. I also wonder if you have had a talk with your dad about this and how he feels. Does he put up with this behavior too? is he willing to protect you, or perhaps can you find a safe place, a relative or a friend? I know that I ended up moving out to get away from my mom, I just could not take it any more. Do you have any younger siblings? if so, you could report her to child protective services, especially if she is violent. Or you could call the police.

Your mom has a serious addiction problem, unfortunately, many addicts do not get help until their lives become really bad.
