Wanted to share

Yesterday Katelin came over by herself,, and had dinner,,, for first time, in a long time my family was complete, felt a sense of peace as well as sense of saddness, which I was able to control,, and engage in the beautiful moment,,, ill be honest throughout the evening many times just wanted to throw in the towel, and tell to move back in so I coukd just take care of her,,, but then reality set in and I realize that in order for Katelin to find herself , in this journey,,, I have to continue to step a side and let her do this on her own,,,oh, there were moments that I wanted to controll,, but instead I literally stuffed my mouth with a sock,, it may not be the way I want her to be, but it's not my choice,,,
It may not be perfect,, but deffinetly was progress,,the hope of her fighting her demons, shine through at our family dinner table yesterday, and for that I'm thankful ,,, I don't know what tomorriw brings,, I do know today the love for my daughter is strong,,,, my only regret is I was unable to keep the boundaries sooner ,, and wasted so much energy looking for the fix,, or dwelling in the problem,, instead of finding the solution,, I don't have all the answers, no where near the end, but I do know is I am a proud mother , who happens to have a daughter as an addict,,,
Has I said bye to her yesterday, we hugged,, and told her to stop looking at where you should be,, but look where you can be,,,,
