Live, love and laugh
Mellody,,,,, the 8 week update, is from the day I kept my boundary after many "giving in" times,,, my addict 23,, has been to 3 rehaps, 6month in jail,,, sober living ,, blah,
8 Thursday's ago,, when I caught her using ,, in my home,, she was not just high,,, that she choice to leave,,, prior to that, when we allowed her back in,, we sat down together and wrote out the boundaries so there no hidden I didn't know,,( addicts love using that line), I stuck to them for the first time ever,,, I was one of those "empty threaters ) I had enough,,, she was either going to do it, get clean,, it not,,, already have her arrangements made,, ( because that's reality)
Trust during those eight weeks were effin hell,, the manipulation ( cries on the phone ,, I'm Hungary, im sleeping on thd streets,, if you only knew what I'm doing to get dope ect,,,), remained firm,,, a lot praying,,, it came to thd point that,, that until she felt the Paine if the addiction,, was worse ( she had the world and then some not using in our home ) then that pleasure of the drug,, she was not going to stop,,
So,,, patience, love,, and hope are the tools I use as well has educate, I've sat down with other addicts, i'v done whatever I could, to understand this ugly addiction,,,
I refuse to let it bring me down,,, I put my big girl pants on every day,,,
So where there is life,,, the hope light beams across!!
Pray for you daily ya know... and it is you that is the rock... for this I am so grateful!
