and those of us left here on ds...most of us have not had to bury our addict....Cardinal and others have. I only bring that up to give you some perspective. celebrate you have someone to drop off.

Blue...appreciate that. You are right. I have someone to drop off. Last week at my sons rehab we lost an 18 year old from a relapse after he finished. We are all heartbroken. He is one of many that I know have OD'ed. This is real...hes still in the shelter. Sticking to what I say. He is going into treatment tomorrow. I know that if I let him here he would be using. He may very well have found his rock bottom. Trying to keep the faith.
And I try here...sharing what I have been thru and all the insight I have to heroin addiction. I know how lost I was and sometimes still am. Everyone on here that shares can save lives. I'm grateful for everyone willing to help.
