So yesterday Justin calls me and tells me they would not even let him sleep in the homeless shelter. I don't really know why but I'm like oh no now what now where? He spent the night outside(thank God it warmed up to about 40) He has every reason imaginable for not wanting to go to The Healing Place (mainly he is humiliated and feels like everyone is on to him and snickering about him and I know its probably all in his head) but he is desperate to get out of our city out of our homeless shelter out of the homeless folks treatment center. I told him to call a Teen challenge but then I was reading and they require $1000.00 up front. I don't have it today and when I do have it do I risk losing another 1000.00 bucks? So he is thinking he can get back into the hospital and kill two weeks time, his court date is Feb. 27. But that will leave him two weeks to what? go back out on the streets and do what? I know this is his disease and in order for treatment to work he must do it himself but OMGosh this is impossible. He can't call anywhere long distance to try and get into a program he has no phone, then they want to email him the application and all he has is a computer at the library. My daughter keeps telling me to back away but he shows up on FB telling me all of this and I know I can't help but how do I process all of this and not do anything! What can I do? what should I do? Everything I have read tells me to walk away keep the boundaries and ok I will, but does anyone know how I am supposed to cope with my feelings??
