I can't remember the last time I actually did something for myself. It's always been Mack and the kids, work and school, ballet, swimming, cooking cleaning laundry the list goes on and on. But today, I went to a friend's house and just hung out. We watched a movie. Made smoothies. I even left my phone in my car so I wouldn't be disturbed. It felt nice. I had forgotten how nice it is to have friends. And I didn't cry at all while I was there. Now, I'm home and going to sit back and watch a little Sons of Anarchy. I kinda got a thing for Jax. Today, I took back a little of me.
I've also instated 'Saturday Date Day' with the hubby....so yesterday we started it and it was nice, we went out to lunch together and just hung out....
And sundays are 'me day'...(here I sit at 5:34 am but...)....I do a facial mask, and laundry and just take it easy...LOL...
