well as you all know my son was arrested last week just days before his sisters wedding day. I had to call her and tell her he relapsed again. This time we were not mad. This time we were just plain ole sad. Because this time was different. This time we had some really good times together and honestly felt like he was trying. I felt like I KNEW he did not WANT to relapse... Well he has been in jail for 10 days now. We have not seen him or talked to him. We had the wedding and it was a beautiful day that turned out nearly perfect. We all refused to let Justin Ruin the joy we felt about his sisters big day. The wedding was so emotional and we all shared in my daughters happiness. Now that it is over I will allow myself to be sad for Justin, but my daughter and I both agree that Justin relapsed got caught and is suffering the consequences. It all happened quickly before he had a chance to do more damage and tis is a good thing. And we had all reconnected with him and shown him love so this time while in jail he can think about the love his family has for him. I don't know but I just feel like he was a tiny bit closer to getting healthy this time and hopefully when he gets out he will go into a LONG term treatment like we had wanted him too. I did not think he was ready for a sober living house cause it allowed him too much freedom. I am waiting for a letter from him as that is the only way he can contact me as of right now.
I feel certain he regrets what happened and will want to get back on track, I have hope for him still.
