I don't know if I'll ever have that kind of time again.
I pray your son (and mine) finally their way.
But after a moment in quiet prayer for a young man possibly on the street & homeless with no money or resources a question came to mind - what if he would miss his court date and if so would that be so bad and then what? Answer, maybe not - a bench warrant would be issued for his arrest and then what? He'd be removed from the streets and maybe having adequate information about Justin's drug history & usage (something you'd be able to help supply) he'd be sent to a State-run facility that has a long-term treatment program - it could happen??? It did for my son who was homeless, using and on the streets...
A lot of what ifs here but sometimes when you step and look outside the box good may come from bad and worse may get better??? Will continue to lift you up in prayer ~~Hugs~~
I wouldn't help my son after he got kicked out of Salvation Army and ended up walking to a TC 10 miles through the worst part of the city. He's 2+ years sober.
