I am thankful for find this site and making some really good friends like you!

Day 5
I have to copy you Katrina,,so thankful I found this site, so many eons ago, when I felt desperate and alone , today it's comforting to come here. And Beable to reach out, release, and recharge. , to have the feeling of not being alone, and meeting ( people like you) that have become really good friends!!

Each night when I lay my head down, I say thank you to the Lord for Today, and that my son is sober today. Because I don't know what tommorrow will bring and today is all we really have.

I am thankful that my son is safely in rehab

I am thankful that my son is alive . I am thankful for my two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband. I am also very thankful for the wonderful friends I have made here.

i am grateful that my husband has been sober for 22 days. meets with his sponsor goes to several AA meetings a week. ( and sleeps in his own room now)
i also am thankful that although hurricane sandy severely damaged our roof and made a big mess of my property. and left us powerless for 7 days...... we remain relatively unscathed. and my husband (although annoying) was able to remain sober in spite of all that anxiety and drama

I am thankful that my son is alive and at my home with me trying to get better. I am thankful for the love I feel for my husband and the love he feels for me. I am thankful that my 3 other kids are healthy and happy. I am thankful for my lil grandson who is so active and healthy. I am thankful that the area I live in was not hurt by Sandy. I am thankful I still have a great job in this economy. I am thankful for the freedom to vote for who I want to vote for and I am ever so thankful to all of you!
