New here and just wanted to share my story and get some insight from others who have gone through it or going through it. 

I met my husband in 2017 while he was in prison. He was released in March 2018 and we got married April 2018. We were happy and planned a family, we got pregnant shortly after. Around November he started becoming distant and I eventually found out he started using meth. Our daughter was born in February 2019 and a couple months later I found out he was cheating and had been since I was pregnant. He says he never would've cheated if he was sober. His addiction and actions ended him getting arrested as he had a parole violation in October 2019. He was released December 2019 and was sent back to his county he originally paroled. He has been sober since December 25, 2019. He's now living in a sober living and he wants no contact with us cause when we talk it usually turns into a fight and he says it's gonna jeopardize his recovery. I've started reading about codependency as I feel I am. He says he has no time to focus on our marriage and family as he needs to focus on his sobriety. I understand that as if he doesn't he won't succeed in his recovery. It is very hard for me as I have forgave him, I'm still hurt and things trigger me but I'm willing to work through it. I don't know if I should try to work it out or just let him have his new life. 

Any insight or advice would be appreciated
