I declared to my son that this is a sober living home. No pot or alcohol. I also informed him that he was an alcoholic. Everyone mom,dad, grandmoms were alcoholic and died that way. Oh yeah brother an sister only one using.

Anyway back to son, he is in denial of course and told me off by text. He has told my other son he will contact me but I believe the last time I heard from him it was about 8 months ago.

I believe he can't call because he can't talk to someone who goes against his favorite past time. (getting high and partying)

I miss him but if he is going to be mean and call me foul names and be crazy. I don't want him to call. Is that mean?

I really just want him to know this is were he can go when he is ready to quit. Or get well.

He lives with his grandma my ex mother in law and he is 28. He uses her because she raised him that way. And now he thinks that is normal.

I tried to get him to try to get out of their but now he is trapped in his denial.

I am writing because i know you guys will understand the ups and downs of loving and hating at the same time. I am christian and I do believe in hating the sin and loving the sinner. Which is me and everyone else. We are all not perfect but sometimes we have to protect ourselves and our family.
