Your son's behavior suggests major depression. My son displayed the same behavior. He was on meds for awhile, & then quit taking them. Does your son take any anti-depressants? You cant continue to live like that, it will take it's toll on you. I went through such a similar thing with my son. I nearly had a nervous breakdown. Please get him & yourself some help before it gets too serious. He needs to be admitted to a psych ward, & soon. I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings. ((hugs)) I know what you are going through.
It was present before his Nanas death and is now an excuse to be irresponsible and high.
They play us...aren't you hurting from the death? Do you use?,, No you don't...I feel the pain when my son..hurts and uses heroin..and will use any excuse to do it.
This is the perfect excuse for your son. And your feeding it.
We all have to cope with losses..and heartache...but using is just an addiction..and anyway we can excuse it...is a blessing to us addidts.
Don't feed it....it is life..people we love die.but not an excuse for using
have you offered to take him to the ER?
Sounds like he needs a stay in the psych ward. then treatment... if he chooses....drug use causes or inflames all sorts of mental health issues. My son's depression was so bad, and he self medicated by drinking, and drinking caused more problems and depression...until he stopped. He doesn't need any medication, and is sober. amazing.
Meanwhile, you have to somehow take better care of yourself...you falling apart won't help him. the journey is a long one and you need to take care of yourself...you are feeling everything, he is not.
I would say seizures. Have him drink some liquids and maybe google it?
I wish you both well.
