Oh Hurray!!!! I am so happy you heard from her. Yes, she is still using, but she is alive. Thank GOD! I am so pleased. Crazy the things we celebrate.... Oh, I am so glad for you!

I'm happy for you too Kim, I agree you might not have gotten the call you wanted but at least she called. She certainly did give you an early Christmas gift now maybe you can enjoy your day knowing she is alive.

Great news Kim - I know it's been so hard on you not knowing so praise God for small blessings. How's Ava holding up through all this? Christmas is such a family time so I hope with your love & determination she's able to slide through it w/o too much worry.

Hello All.... I was looking for a group that deals with addictions with your children... well, my adult children.... anyways, I was reading your post cardinal39 and was thinking how it sounds like my feeling with my daughter at least when shes high she can talk to me like a human instead of blameing me for ruining her life.

I have 2 adult daughters who are drug users.. my oldest 31 has 2 children. she a user of cocaine and prescription drugs maybe other drugs... but these I know for sure....I found out just 3 years ago. she could have been doing it longer I really dont know...

my 2nd daughter 30, no kids... has been useing for 10 years..could have been longer... first it was weed then cocaine then acid, crack then heroin... and prescripion drugs..

I didnt realize how I need help also with dealing with them being addicted. Im realizeing how I enabled them so much. scarey to finding that out... thought I was helping and really wasnt.

the hardest part is watching my gks live in this maddiness with thier mothers roller coaster ride of emotions and behaviors.

I feel so helpless in it all. I walk away from my daughters a week ago.. it was the hardest thing to do leaveing behind my gks. Im hopeing to find some sort of understanding with all this and moveing forward ..if thats possible. but, I realize I am full of resentment and anger at the both of them now and hopeing to heal from it. may peace and happiness follow you all.
