My cousin just got 10 yrs in prison for violating her 7 yr probation by pissing dirty for meth weed and pills...I'm pissed off that she let it go on this long and that I can't even have a relationship with her anymore she's always been like a sister to me but she cares more about getting high and being a criminal than her family...now 10 more yrs of her life is gone and she's only 25...spend most of her life already being a criminal and an addict...I just really hope this time she decides to change her life...I got out of that life real quick...got addicted to spice for 3 months got put in jail for 4 months and I've just completed my 18 month probation and I'll never go back to that life...I just pray she does something different this time instead of continuing to throw her life away :(
You already know that no one can make anyone else change. they have to do it for themselves.
My son did some AA and bible study in jail, but it wasn't until he got outside that he failed, and then finally decided to get his act together.
If he can do it, anyone can...if you can do it, she can do it.
Lets hope she decides to follow your path.
