Hi Pat, Good for you. Positive steps forward, you stuck to your guns, and now you are laying out some boundaries which is so very important as you know. It seems to me the Doctors are a big problem in this situtaion? just an observation. The timing never works out, but then again when our children are actively using, there is never a good time. Go and see your husband, and spend the time with your son because if you change your plans what will that change with your daughter? nothing. Release the anxiety, and take that anger and put it into creating strict boundaires and tell yourself you are in control, because you are. One moment at a time, Pat but you have took some very positive steps. You can do this. Good luck.

woohoo Pat,, look how far you have come,,, couple of weeks ago, you would be freaking out,,,,,, you set you boundary,, you stay firm,, and tomorrow brings a whole new option plan,, your no longer the sheriff in town,,,,, Timing is never right,,,, uhm if only we could of planned our addicts addicition,, then there would be none!!
I like how you handle the situation,, you removed the anxiety from the home,, to talk with your daughter,,,, I think you have now found your peace, and realize that you have no control over anyone, but your own surroundings,,,,, big cudos,, momma!!
go visist your husband,, and send your son off to his 90 days,,,,, relese the anger,, and anxiety,, and direct to making a peacefull serentity for yourself,,,,,, if your daughter continues to not follow the boundaries the two of you have set,,, then she also must find a place where she is in control of her own surroundings,,,,, this is your home,, your santuary,,,,, visually ,,,, do you want piegons, that are dirty, loud,, and gross sitting on your window sill,, cause they like chaos,,, or would you prefer the beauiful site of cardinals,, that have beautiful coloring,, and sound awsome,, they are very cautious, and do not take to choas,, they preferr,,, quite,, serenity,,,,

each step forward,, leads to the right direction,, remember the ablity to dance in the rain,,, is more important then the storm,,,,,or it's how we deal with the situation,, that is more important then the situation,,,, because unless we have control,, not much we can do!!

Thank you dee and cardinal, your words of encouragement are making me cry. I am trying so hard and I really want peace and serenity it has been way too long since I have felt any. I forgot to mention that my daughter and my grandson are supposed to come with me this weekend but I told her I have to see how tomorrow goes before I make my decision.
