Today is not a happy day for me. I miss mack. I woke up crying again. I want the anger that I felt yesterday to come back. I know I'm doing the right thing. But I still hurt. His addiction killed us. It killed the man that he was. It killed the woman that I was. It killed our happy little family. I hate heroin.

I keep telling myself that everything happens for a reason. Fate brought me here to learn something. This has got to be the most painful lesson of my entire life.

I'm just sad today. That's all.

Stop! look in the mirror and yell as loud as you can STOP! You can't change anything about what was, or what is, you can change the direction of your future.Make a goal for yourself today and go out and do it. today is not a sad day, it is a day that you are going to do something for you.I always tell my son no matter how cloudy the day is if you soar high enough the sun shines through. hugs.

Your going to have up and down days. Write reason's why its best to be separated and reason why you should be together. As time goes by you will start to remember more of the negative that comes with living with an addict. Also when he comes into your head push the thought out. Yelling or saying STOP will give the brain a change in thought process. Kind of like a train switch, you want to go the other way no the same track you were heading down.
dmatt gave good advice, look forward to a brighter future. I like to think it didn't kill the woman I was, instead now that I no longer live with an addict I have become the person I really was he just was keeping me stuck.

I'm trying. I really am. Yesterday it was so easy. Today is just hard. I know this will pass. And if I ever hear back from my tattoo guy, I'll be completely estatic and happy. It's just a hard day. And tomorrow, I have to tell my daughter's father that I decided to move us to NY. He's going to be crushed. I'm not looking forward to that either. So many changes all at once. I can't help but feel overwhelmed.
